The Iowa Legislature created Title Guaranty in 1986 to provide guarantees of Iowa real property titles and to facilitate lenders’ participation in the secondary market. A division of the Iowa Finance Authority, Title Guaranty is totally self-funded. We are proud of the fact that all revenue in excess of operating expenses is re-invested in Iowa, funding home ownership programs for first-time homebuyers.
